Job Responsibilities

I can remember the exact moment I was offered my dream internship at Hour Detroit; I was just leaving the Detroit Tiger’s baseball game after being in Detroit for one of the first times. Every time I drive on that exact off-ramp, I am reminded of the flood of happy and nervous emotions I experienced. Since being a young girl, working at a magazine was my dream. While that professional dream may have changed, as I have been exposed to the vast realms of design, I will always be appreciative of that first experience in a creative environment. From learning about the complicated, yet structured process of putting together a magazine, to assisting photoshoots, the Hour Detroit internship was the perfect first step into the world of design.
